About the festival
Neukölln opens its gates this time around from the 23rd of June 2023 at 7:00 PM until the 25th of June also at 7:00 PM – and invites you once again to explore and get to know the art, the many venues, and the district itself.
The 48 Stunden Neukölln arts festival is one of the biggest art events in Berlin and will happen for the 25th time now, as always spanning all disciplines and free of charge.
Here the most diverse forms of art are presented in many different venues, and a network of local as well as international artists and art lovers comes together.

The application deadline for festival entries has unfortunately passed. Applications that were turned in before that are now being looked at by our jury and will be decided upon up until the 14th of April 2023. Afterwards the accepted applications can be completed with all the event details. You can now use our marketplace to find artists for your venue or vice versa. Open Formats / Events
This year we will also be offering open formats along with the curated portion of the festival. These formats serve to present and strengthen the Neukölln art scene. They are open for professional, year round venues with a focus on the arts. Artistic works, practice and production spaces, for example art studios or co-working spaces, can all be shown to a broad public within the framework of 48 Stunden Neukölln. Galleries, studios, businesses, non-profits, local residents or other diverse organizations – every Neuköllner can participate, without being bound to the festival theme.
No application is necessary, only an event registration. Any required city permits must be applied for directly. Open formats will be listed in the 48 Stunden Neukölln programme with the address and opening times.
The registration deadline for open formats is the 19th of May 2023.
