The ‘Show, Don’t Tell Collective’ (@showdontt_ll) aims to shine a spotlight on emerging talent within Berlin’s vibrant artistic scene, whether visual, musical, or performance focused. Our artistic lens is intended to introduce new artists to a broader audience in a welcoming way and promote a message of community.
We have previously held events at OpenTiny Kiezkiosk, Backhaus Projects (as part of last years festival) and Kukumu Cafe, with exhibitions by artists alongside live musical performances. Our event would consist of an exhibition space curated by Gina Donner (www.ginadonner.com) and Alexandra Oracz (www.aoracz.com), two painters and visual artists living and working in Berlin. Their art explores the relationships between emotion, community and the body and fits perfectly with this years OUT/SIDE/IN theme. Each evening would also be closed by a live musical performance.
Looking for a welcoming space with room for bigger pieces as well as basic capacity to host music :)
